Our timber is sourced from salvaged timber sites, reclaimed timber sites and local recycled timber lots as timber is a perfect renewable resource that is easily recycled with little if any impact on our environment. We do not import any timber as we only used Australian Hardwood (predominantly Ironbark, Tallowwood, Blackbutt and Red Mahogany)
Our unique construction of the furniture is the key element to its longevity with each piece being housed and locked together for optimum strength and durability. We don’t know of anyone else that uses this technique with outdoor furniture made in Australia.
Our furniture is ergonomically designed to fit with most Australian standards for table sizes and seating. Our chairs and bench seats have a degree of camber notched into each seat plank to ensure you don’t get ‘numb bum’ from sitting for long periods.
We pride ourselves of our finishes that we produce with each and every piece of furniture. Attention to detail and quality control being at the forefront of our products. When you purchase our furniture, you can use it immediately, no additional sanding and oiling required. (we’ve already done it for you)
Big Garden Furniture is pro-Australian Made. We are very proud to be producing a 100% Australian product from native Australian Hardwood. Our fixtures are made by Bremick and Australian owned and operated business since 1965, our oil is Aussie Clear, manufactured here in Australia by Preschem. All our furnishings are handmade locally from fabrics source in Australia, therefore we continue to work alongside Australian businesses and industry.
